Capped Based Plan

Important things to know
1. Traffic is measured both directions (up and down)
2. This is a peak and off peak account. Peak time is 8:00Am till 1:00am and off peak is 1:00Am till 8:00am each day
3. You will lose (sacrifice) your current telephone line. This means that you will not be able to make or recieve calls on your current number. IT WILL STOP WORKING!
4. You will be on a 24 mointh contract.
5 Only dynamic IP numbers are available. You cannot get a static IP with this account.
6. This account is only provided to customers who have an active telephone line. ie custoemr can make and receive calls.
7. After the Naked DSL service is installed on the nominated service number the phone line will be disconnected. The custoemr will not be able to use any services that require a dial tione to operate. This includes (but not limited to)fax, back to base alarms andPABX. The service number will be quranbtines and will not be re activated.
8. Naked DSL is only available in geographical areas which are covered by the Optus ADSL2+ network
9. Naked DSL provisioning takes approx 10 -20 days (depending on customer location).

* The Naked DSL plans Speeds are provided as Internet Grade “Best Efforts” services and are shown in
downstream/upstream format and speeds are theoretical network maximum speeds. Actual speeds may be
less due to a number of factors including network configuration, line quality & length, exchange type,
customer premises interference, traffic and equipment.
Speed of service is reduced to 72 kbps once the Monthly Allowance is reached and is reduced in both
directions.
Data usage is counted in both directions. Shaping is calculated from the user’s anniversary date.
All Naked ADSL plans are provisioned with a Dynamic IP Address.
Please be aware an ADSL2+ modem & filter must be used with the Naked DSLservices.

Modem / Router Selection
You will require an ADSL2+ Modem/Router to connect to the DSL service. Some choices for hardware are below.
ADSL Modem/Router 4 x ports- $99.00
Wireless/Ethernet ADSL Modem/Router 4 x port- $150.00
VoIP Wireless/Ethernet ADSL Modem/Router 4 x port- $199.00
If required, you can choose for our Network Technician to visit you onsite to setup and configure your ADSL connection for you. Costing is outlined below for a standard onsite setup. Please note, this is an optional service.
Basic Installation (Modem/Router installation only, excludes any additional hardware of cabling that may be required) @ $165.00 for the first hour, and $126.50 per hour thereafter inclusive of GST.
