Q: Have you always been involved in the IT (Information Technology) business? No, I’ve been in IT since 1985 but prior to than I spent 10 years in the landscaping industry. Prior to that I was enlisted in the Australian Navy and during that time received an Admiral’s commendation for Seamanship for assisting the floundering vessel MV Holien off Newcastle harbour.

Q: How do you like to relax when you’re not working? There’s nothing better than catching up on some sleep, playing with my Grandchildren, watching a good movie or reading the paper. Typical male things really!

Q: Have you always been involved in the IT (Information Technology) business? No, I started my career as a cabinetmaker but once I completed my trade I became bored with the job I was working in. I needed more of a challenge and I had always been interested in working with computers so the move from my trade to technology began in the year 2000.

Q: What is your favourite way to exercise and stay fit? I like going to the gym, lifting weights, running and taking my “fighting fit” class once a week.

Q: What more would you like to achieve in your current job? I would like to achieve a greater understanding of a whole range of things but in particular Active Directory.
