One Static IP is available on all accounts. Add $5.50 per month
* The Open2 plans Speeds are provided as Internet Grade “Best Efforts” services and are shown in
downstream/upstream format and speeds are theoretical network maximum speeds. Actual speeds may be
less due to a number of factors including network configuration, line quality & length, exchange type,
customer premises interference, traffic and equipment.
Open2 Services are Spectrum Shared and currently available through 1,403 enabled Telstra Exchanges.
The Open2 services are subject to the standard ADSL services supplied by Summit Internet.
Speed of service is reduced to 72 kbps once the Monthly Allowance is reached and is reduced in both
directions.
Data usage is counted in both directions. Shaping is calculated from the user’s anniversary
date.
All ADSL plans are provisioned with a Dynamic IP Address unless otherwise requested.
Please be aware an ADSL2+ modem & filter must be used with the Open2 services.

Modem / Router Selection
You will require an ADSL2+ Modem/Router to connect to the DSL service. Some choices for hardware are below.
- ADSL Modem/Router 4 x ports- $99.00
- Wireless/Ethernet ADSL Modem/Router 4 x port- $150.00
- VoIP Wireless/Ethernet ADSL Modem/Router 4 x port- $260.00
- ADSL Line Central Splitter * - $25.00
* These are required if you wish to operate more than one normal telephone handset on the same line which you will have your ADSL service activated on.
If required, you can choose for our Network Technician to visit you onsite to setup and configure your ADSL connection for you. Costing is outlined below for a standard onsite setup. Please note, this is an optional service.
- Basic Installation (Modem/Router installation only, excludes any additional hardware of cabling that may be required) @ $165.00 for the first hour, and $126.50 per hour thereafter inclusive of GST.
